DFF was incorporated towards the end of 2020 and this first strategic plan largely reflects the short-term activities and goals of the Foundation which are aimed at establishing its presence, growing its recognition in the Australian LGMD community, and positioning itself to make a valuable contribution to the well-being of the members of its community. The Strategic Plan defines the tasks to be carried out over the 2022-2023 planning period. It is expected that subsequent Strategic Plans will cover a three-to-five-year planning horizon.
